Limiting Equalizer

MMIC series(Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit)

A limiting equalizer is a multi-functional integrated component for RF and microwave links, integrating limiting protection and amplitude equalization. On one hand, its limiting circuit suppresses high-power spike signals to prevent damage to subsequent chips and amplifiers caused by over-power input. On the other hand, the equalization network compensates amplitude ripples across the working band, eliminating gain differences between high and low frequencies to deliver flat, stable output power over the full bandwidth.
It is widely deployed in phased array T/R channels, radar receiver front-ends and wireless communication RF modules, realizing power protection and amplitude-frequency characteristic correction simultaneously to simplify system circuit layout.
Key specifications include limiting threshold, equalization range, insertion loss and VSWR.
